Store Showcase: Signarama Brighton, Michigan

by Mary Mills on August 21, 2012

Mike Favoretto, owner of SIGNARAMA Brighton, is a jack of all trades. He prides himself and his company as being a versatile signage business, serving his corner of the greater Detroit metro area for the last three years.

Prior to opening his doors in November 2009, Mike was involved in the auto industry for 25 years, working for down tier suppliers on the electronics side. When the auto industry took a turn for the worst, Mike found himself looking for a new opportunity and a chance to make a bigger impact in the world.SIGNARAMA store in Brighton, Michigan

“At that point, I decided to do something different and own my own business, rather than again work for someone else,” said Mike. “My undergraduate degree is actually in graphic arts, and I knew I wanted to get into a franchise because history has said that they have a better chance at surviving than starting something from scratch.”

SIGNARAMA Brighton has employed the latest technology from the moment they opened the doors. Mike says they have found that this produces higher quality products for their customers rather than investing time and money into cheap methods of production to keep prices unnecessarily low.

Ultimately, Mike and SIGNARAMA Brighton let their customers dictate the need, not the other way around.

“The customer comes to us with a need,” said Mike. “We do our best to fulfill that need with the products and services that we have to offer. We don’t make them fit into our own offerings.”

SIGNARAMA Brighton produces yard signs, banners, face changes on standard box signs, and channel letters. They also do custom graphics, custom logos, digital graphics, and have even created full-color digital LED message centers!
