Signarama Las Vegas Creates Large Pylon Sign

by Sheldon Rayman on August 6, 2015

Las Vegas, Nevada is home to many signs, and Signarama Las Vegas has had a hand in contributing to the collection. Anyone conjuring up a view of Las Vegas in their mind’s eye will imagine large neon signs, signs directing traffic around the city, and signs advertising the latest attractions.

We may not have had much to do with the first, but we’ve definitely done the last.

Signarama Las Vegas jumped into the sign industry in 1997, and has not looked back. Not to be outdone by the lights, the sounds, and the signs of downtown Las Vegas, our own claim to fame is refacing a large, double-sided, 35 feet high square pylon sign out on Interstate 15 for a small Las Vegas company.

We created this new sign by using FlexFace, a product that’s almost like a vinyl banner.

Our client has worked with us since we opened doors. Over the years, their business grew until the first owner sold it for quite a tidy sum. A few years later, the current owners purchased the business for an even larger sum, testifying to the once-small business’s growth over the years.

This particular business does about 50-60% of the construction work for the state of Nevada — roads, bridges, highways, and so on. Consequently, because this company does such a wide variety of jobs for the state government, the sign orders that come through to Signarama Las Vegas varies greatly too.

They’ve brought small jobs for $20 to $125, all the way up to the high-end sign out on Interstate 15 for $35,000. Signarama Las Vegas can create a wide array of different types of signs, and our client has certainly put us to the test.

Of course, each project is just as important as any other project — we never know what our customers will bring next. By treating even the smallest jobs with the highest amount of care and precision, they know exactly who can do their large projects in the future.
