Signarama Orlando North Creates Signs for Medical Conference

by Ben Hochstetter on October 22, 2015

While most Signarama projects tend to be permanent business signs, we’re occasionally asked to make temporary signs that will only see the light of day for a few days at most.

Recently, Signarama Orlando North created signage for a recent medical conference, held here in Orlando. The marketing department for the conference found us through a mutual contact, and it became a referral job.

Rosen Centre Hotel (Orlando, Florida)The conference was housed in the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, which you can see from I-4, while the Orange County Convention Center housed another part. While the hotel displayed most of the signage Signarama created, we also placed several signs in the breezeway connecting the hotel with the convention center.

In addition to the various signs in the Rosen Centre Hotel and the breezeway, we created signs visible to participants entering the Orange County Convention Center. So people who stayed in the Rosen Centre were being reached before they ever reached the show.

This project was big enough that we took an “all hands on deck” approach, as the installation occurred overnight prior to the start of the event. Our installers spent nearly 24 hours installing signs throughout the event location before it opened to the attendees. We then had to remove the signs immediately after the conference ended, and be finished overnight.

All in all, it was a successful conference for us. The organizers liked the signs, and the hotel was very cooperative and gave us the access we needed. It was a hard project, but one we were glad to take on.
