Signarama Orlando North Creates Signs for Washington Prime Malls

by Ben Hochstetter on April 14, 2015

When it comes to business signs, anything you see in front of a store, Signarama can make it. That includes the big signs you see in front of the shopping malls and plazas.

When Simon Malls split a fraction of their Orlando mall locations from Simon Properties, Washington Prime Malls emerged. In the Orlando area, the outlet malls kept the Simon name, and the typical shopping malls transitioned over to the Washington Prime name.

To get the word out to Orlando-area shoppers, promotion and marketing went into high gear. Waterford Lakes Mall’s marketing director already knew about Signarama Orlando North — both Waterford Lake’s marketing director and I serve on the Board of Directors for the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce.

In fact, Signarama Orlando North and Waterford Lakes Mall have been partners for quite some time. So it was a natural match for us to promote the new Washington Prime Malls in the Orlando market. We already had quite a track record pushing Waterford Lakes Mall out to consumers and letting people know about hours, events, and other promotions.

In the past, we’ve made 22″ x 28″ advertising panels, promotional items, decals around the mall property, and some security signs. Waterford Lakes marketing director has closely overseen everything, so they have a good idea what kind of branding items need to go into the new Washington Prime Mall. When the time comes, we’ll be ready to go in creating the necessary signage for the new Orlando malls.

All of this experience will only help as Washington Prime Malls grows in the Orlando market.
