Franchising.com reported on the new expansion deal that was signed between Signarama Corporate and Ghassan Barazi:

Ghassan Barazi with Jim JT Tatum and Tim FoleySeptember 05, 2014 // Franchising.com // West Palm Beach, Florida – Ghassan Barazi has always been a man on the hunt for the next great opportunity. After a long and extensive career as a mechanical engineer and business owner, Ghassan Barazi purchased the Canadian master license for Signarama, the world’s largest sign franchise in 2011. Barazi became fascinated by the franchise business model and saw Signarama as a recession-proof business beaming with opportunity. Barazi has witnessed first-hand how the Signarama system can positively impact the lives of the people who operate each business and the communities they are in.

As a result, Barazi and the Signarama team signed an agreement which will now allow them as a team to bring the Signarama brand to 20 Middle Eastern countries. “We are thrilled to announce our expansion into these new international markets,” said Jim Tatem, president of Signarama.

“We hope that through this deal, we will be able to not only grow and develop our brand, but also create jobs and welcome more people into the Signarama family.”

The new agreement will cover the countries of Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Bahrain, Morocco, Yemen, Iran, South Sudan, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey, Israel, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and the Palestinian Territory.

“We believe that the Middle Eastern market is an ideal fit for Signarama’s innovative and creative services,” said Tatem, “We cannot wait to introduce the brand to an ever-growing business demographic.” The Signarama brand was founded in 1986 by Ray Titus and his father, franchising pioneer, Roy Titus, and was recently ranked 28th on Franchise Direct’s Top 100 Global Franchises list.

Signarama, the world’s largest sign franchise, offers branding and messaging solutions in addition to comprehensive sign and graphic services to consumers and commercial customers – from business signs, vehicle wraps, and digital signs, to advertising and marketing services.
