Use Wall Wraps for Retail Decor

by Casey Valiant on January 8, 2013

Wall wraps make an excellent point of sale sign when it comes to retail decor. Wall wraps showcase any products you are trying to promote — the new spring line, the latest model car driving in the mountains, or even your product in use by a happy family.

Since wall wraps are often die cut to odd shapes — like a cutout of a car or a person — they can even be designed to fit around different fixtures on the store wall, such as windows, doors, switch plates, and even doors. .

Wall WrapRestaurants are another place where wall wraps are popping up, especially in themed restaurants. Want a way to add to the ambience of an Italian restaurant? How about a high resolution photo of life in Tuscany, or a plaza in Rome? A street market in Mexico City can add an exciting flair to a Mexican restaurant. A night club can put up large wall wrap photos of people dancing and having a good time.

A wall wrap can come in any size and shape you want, based on the configuration of your store or showroom. And because they’re not permanent, you can even put them up in a leased space without worrying about damaging the walls.

For wall wraps, the most standard material is a standard wallpaper material. It does not have an adhesive back, and it is hung just as traditional wallpaper. Another option is an adhesive-backed wallpaper material that allows the wall wrap to be removed at a later date.

A third type of wall wrap we’ve been using at SIGNARAMA is a new material developed by HP to be printed on the new HP wide format printers. This material is made specifically for wall coverings, wall decals, and wall wraps. It’s easy to print on, and it is pre-pasted, so we can use whatever design you’d like and place it anywhere you want it to go.

At SIGNARAMA, our designers and production specialists can work with you and your management to come up with the best designs possible. For more information on wall wraps, check out our website. You can also find the closest SIGNARAMA store to you by using our store locator.
